About the Role
Abbott seeks an Informatics Technical Specialist in Dubai to implement and support AlinIQ Digital Health applications. You will manage end-to-end IT implementation, testing, and training for clinical diagnostic customers.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for end to end implementation, testing and training of Abbott Digital applications with focus on quality and customer satisfaction
- Apply technical IT and networking knowledge to analyze user needs and gather customer requirements
- Design integrated, scalable and comprehensive informatics solutions for clinical diagnostic healthcare customers
- Multi task and coordinate with sales representatives, lab managers, project managers, IT personnel, HIS and LIS personnel, vendors, and senior management
- Serve as an informatics applications expert for more junior members of the organization
- Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system and adhere to Abbott Code of Business Conduct
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Medical or Hospital Informatics or related disciplines
- 2 3 years of relevant healthcare industry experience within diagnostics segment in the region
- Technical IT and networking knowledge
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and other soft skills
- Ability to multi task and coordinate with complex network of departments

Informatics Technical Specialist
- This position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Diagnostics division.
- A technical expert focused on the end to end delivery of the AlinIQ Digital Health applications.
- Core responsibilities include complex IT implementation, testing, training, and escalation management.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for the end to end implementation, testing and training of the Abbott Digital applications with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Apply technical IT and networking knowledge to analyze user needs; gather customer requirement; design an integrated, scalable and comprehensive informatics solutions.
- Must be able to multi task and coordinate with a complex network of departments throughout all levels of an organization.
- Serves as an informatics applications expert for more junior members of the organization.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
- Adheres to and promotes the Abbott Code of Business Conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree (± 16 years)
- Computer Science, Information Systems, Medical or Hospital Informatics or related disciplines.
- 2 3 years of relevant healthcare industry experience within diagnostics segment in the region.
