Overview

Key Responsibilitiesplant Selection & Landscape Development

• Select and recommend suitable plants, trees, shrubs, turf, and seasonal flowers based on project requirements and UAE climate conditions.
• Support landscape design implementation with appropriate plant choices.
• Ensure proper planting methods and landscape establishment.

Plant Health & Maintenance

• Monitor plant health, soil conditions, irrigation levels, and fertilization programs.
• Oversee pruning, trimming, replanting, and general plant maintenance activities.
• Ensure long-term sustainability and healthy growth of all landscaped areas.

Pest & Disease Management

• Identify plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies at early stages.
• Apply corrective treatments and preventive care measures.
• Maintain continuous monitoring to ensure plant health standards.

Irrigation & Soil Management

• Coordinate with irrigation teams to ensure proper watering schedules and system performance.
• Assess soil quality and recommend improvements such as fertilization or soil conditioning.
• Ensure optimal growing conditions for all plant types.

Site Supervision & Quality Control

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high-quality landscaping standards.
• Ensure proper planting techniques and maintenance practices are followed.
• Maintain consistency in plant health and landscape appearance across all sites.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with landscape engineers, irrigation teams, and site supervisors.
• Provide updates on plant condition, maintenance needs, and site progress.
• Support project teams in achieving landscaping objectives.

Team Support

• Guide gardeners and site staff on proper horticultural practices.
• Provide training and supervision for plant care activities.
• Ensure efficient execution of daily horticulture tasks.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Botany, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in horticulture or landscaping (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of plants, soil science, irrigation systems, and plant nutrition.
• Experience in pest and disease control methods.
• Ability to manage site teams and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of UAE-native and climate-resilient plant species.
• Experience in large-scale landscaping or commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems and water management.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments under varying conditions.
