About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant General Manager to maintain resort standards.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate staff in all aspects of service to the highest professional standards.
- Ensure all mise en place is correctly prepared prior to commencing service.
- Prepare all food and beverage requests within time parameters.
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge of all food and beverage items.
- Ensure design and layout of restaurant and bar equipment is flawless.
- Delegate responsibilities to service personnel and ensure tasks are completed.
- Remain updated on all resort happenings, including guests in house, arrivals, departures, and daily events.
- Report incidents of breakages, equipment repair and maintenance to Team Leader/Supervisor.
- Attend and participate in all allocated team events and required training.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 2 years’ experience in an upscale 5 star hotel/resort environment.
- Strong F&B knowledge is a must.
- Excellent personal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with high profile and diverse clientele.
- Dynamic team player able to provide the highest standard of service.
- Excellent communication in English language is required.

Overview
- One&Only The Palm is an intimate beach front retreat on Palm Island, Dubai, seeking a Head Waiter/Head Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Presents oneself in a way that enhances the guest’s overall experience.
