About the Role
One&Only The Palm in Dubai seeks a Head Waiter/Head Waitress for Room Service to assist the Restaurant Manager in maintaining resort standards and leading service staff. The role requires 1-2 years of experience in an upscale 5-star hotel/resort environment with strong F&B knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to maintain resort standards
- Lead, supervise and motivate staff in all aspects of service to the highest professional standards
- Ensure all mise en place is correctly prepared prior to commencing service
- Prepare all food and beverage requests within time parameters and display attributes of genuine hospitality
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge of all food and beverage items offered
- Ensure design and layout of restaurant and bar equipment is flawless and reflects the image of the resort
- Delegate responsibilities to service personnel and ensure tasks are completed
- Remain updated on all resort happenings, including guests in house, arrivals and departures, and daily events
- Report incidents of breakages, equipment repair and maintenance to Team Leader/Supervisor
- Attend and participate in all allocated team events and required training
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 2 years’ experience in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment
- Strong F&B knowledge
- Excellent personal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with high profile and diverse clientele
- Dynamic team player able to provide the highest standard of service
- Excellent communication in English language is required
- Additional language will be highly regarded

About the Role
- One&Only The Palm has a fantastic opportunity for a Head Waiter/Head Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team.
- You will be responsible in assisting the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to maintain resort standards, leads, supervises and motivates his/her staff in all aspects of service to the highest professional standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Presents oneself in a way that enhances the guest’s overall experience by adding life and energy to the outlet.
- Ensures that all mise en place is correctly prepared prior to commencing service.
- Prepares all food and beverage requests within the time parameters set by the resort and always displays attributes of genuine hospitality.
- Demonstrates excellent product knowledge of all food and beverage items offered at the resort, and other items provided by the outlet.
- Ensures that the design and layout of the restaurant and bar equipment is flawless and reflects the image of the resort.
- Maintains and creates a working environment that reflects a sense of place.
- Delegates responsibilities to service personnel, and ensures tasks are completed.
- Presents oneself in a professional manner.
- Remains updated on all resort happenings, including guests in house, arrivals and departures, as well as daily events.
- Reports incidents of breakages, equipment repair and maintenance to Team Leader/ Supervisor.

Suitable Candidate
- Minimum of 1 2 years’ experience in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment.
- Strong F&B knowledge is a must.

- Should be a dynamic team player and able to provide the highest standard of service to our guests.
- Excellent communication in English language is required and an additional language will be highly regarded.
