Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional service standards by ensuring all food and beverage orders are delivered promptly, accurately, and in accordance with SOPs
- Lead, supervise, and monitor colleagues, delegating tasks effectively
- Ensure the restaurant environment is well presented, clean, safe, and aligned with the resort's image
- Provide genuine hospitality, greeting guests professionally, anticipating their needs, and addressing concerns
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge of all food and beverage items
- Uphold the highest standards of personal appearance, grooming, and hygiene
- Maintain effective communication within the team and between departments
- Follow all health, safety, sustainability, and emergency procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a restaurant in a similar capacity
- Strong attention to detail, flexibility, creativity
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
- Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage

About the Role
- One&Only The Palm is seeking a Head Waiter/Head Waitress for L'Abysse Dubai, a new culinary landmark uniting Chef Yannick Alléno and Sushi Master Yasunari Okazaki.
- The role involves leading and supervising colleagues to deliver service of the highest professional quality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional service standards by ensuring all food and beverage orders are delivered promptly, accurately, and in accordance with SOPs.
- Lead, supervise, and monitor colleagues, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring all assigned duties are completed to the required standard.
- Ensure the restaurant environment is well presented, clean, safe, and aligned with the resort's image.
- Provide genuine hospitality, greeting guests professionally, anticipating their needs, addressing concerns or complaints.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge of all food and beverage items offered at the resort.
- Uphold the highest standards of personal appearance, grooming, and hygiene.
- Maintain effective communication, ensuring smooth coordination within the team and between departments.
- Follow all health, safety, sustainability, and emergency procedures.
Suitable Candidate
- Minimum 2 years experience in a restaurant in a similar capacity.
- Strong attention to detail, flexibility, creativity.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
- Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.
