About the Client

  • A growing organization is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to support its finance department and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of daily financial operations.

The Role

  • The Finance Assistant will provide administrative and operational support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing supplier invoices and payments.
  • Prepare customer invoices and maintain payment records.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain financial records and filing systems.
  • Support month end closing activities.
  • Process expense claims and petty cash transactions.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures.
  • Support audit preparation activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience within a finance or accounting environment.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluency in English is required.
