About the Role
One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai is hiring a Commis Waiter/Waitress for The Lounge. You will support the service team in delivering a smooth dining experience, including preparing the restaurant, assisting with orders, and maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
- Prepare all mise en place correctly before service begins
- Assist in serving food and beverages promptly while showing genuine hospitality
- Maintain basic product knowledge of the menu and beverages offered
- Ensure the restaurant setup, cleanliness, and equipment arrangement meet resort standards
- Support senior team members by completing assigned tasks efficiently
- Attend team briefings, meetings, and required training sessions
- Maintain excellent personal hygiene and follow hygiene standards in all work areas
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a quality hotel, resort, or restaurant environment
- Basic food and beverage knowledge
- Willingness to learn and grow within the team
- Strong personal presentation and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage politely with a diverse range of guests
- Supportive team player with a positive attitude
- Good communication in English
- Knowledge of an additional language is an advantage

- We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commis Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai.
Key Duties And Responsibilities

- Prepare all mise en place correctly before service begins.
- Assist in serving food and beverages promptly while showing genuine hospitality.

- Help create a clean, organized, and professional working environment.
- Support senior team members by completing assigned tasks efficiently.
- Always present yourself professionally.
- Attend team briefings, meetings, and required training sessions.
- Maintain excellent personal hygiene and follow hygiene standards in all work areas.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a quality hotel, resort, or restaurant environment.
- Basic food and beverage knowledge is required.
