About the Role
Produces a consistent, high-quality product in the assigned place of work while providing courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service.
Supports food production and kitchen operations in accordance with hotel standards, policies, and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists the Chef de Partie and Demi Chef with mise en place and production of menu items according to standard recipes.
- Assists with production and distribution of food items according to operational requirements.
- Maintains sanitation standards, prevents cross-contamination, and recognizes quality products and presentation.
- Keeps the assigned section and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and organized according to the cleaning schedule.
- Follows Food and Beverage, Food Production, health, hygiene, safety, security, HACCP, and Dubai Municipality requirements.
- Reports maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions and completes required safety training.
- Maintains professional appearance, punctual attendance, confidentiality, and protection of company assets.
- Supports colleagues, departmental training, meetings, communication, service standards, and continuous improvement activities.
