About the Role
The Accounts Payable role processes vendor invoices, ensures timely and accurate payments, maintains supplier records, and supports finance compliance and controls.
The role helps safeguard company assets and maintain strong vendor relationships at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Check receiving documentation and match invoices or delivery slips with LPOs.
- Code invoices accurately in iScala and verify approvals before payment processing.
- Process petty cash reimbursements, intercompany payments, supplier statement reconciliations, and approved staff payments.
- Prepare intercompany invoices and month-end accruals for invoices or credit notes not received.
- Check and balance inventory accounts with Cost Control at month-end.
- Reconcile asset and liability invoices with the general ledger and provide records to the financial accountant.
- Process payments according to ageing reports and company policy.
- Safeguard blank accounts payable cheques, record voided cheques, and maintain proper filing.
- Assist internal and external auditors and perform other duties assigned by management.
- Observe company regulations, policies, procedures, confidentiality, and professional appearance standards.
