Role Overview

  • This is an entry point into one of the highest performing specialist tech recruiting firms in the Middle East.
  • You’ll start by supporting active search engagements across full stack engineering, backend systems, data engineering, developer tooling, and AI/ML.
  • In time, you’ll be coached into owning your own client relationships and running technical searches end to end.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Source and identify candidates for active engineering and technology leadership searches: Staff Engineers, Principal Engineers, Distinguished Engineers, Engineering Managers, VPs of Engineering, CTOs, Head of Platform, Head of Developer Experience, and similar senior technical profiles.
  • Manage candidate pipelines, keep the CRM clean, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Coordinate interviews and logistics between candidates and clients.
  • Research target companies, map engineering org charts and CTO office structures, and build longlists for new search engagements.
  • Draft technical outreach messaging and help refine how we position opportunities to Staff and Principal Engineers, Architects, and technical executives.
  • Contribute client discovery calls and candidate debriefs to learn how technical searches are run at a high level.
  • Learn to read and understand technical résumés, distinguishing between hands on engineers, technical architects, and engineering leaders.
  • Build a sophisticated sourcing strategy where you target notoriously passive yet in high demand talent pools.
  • Build genuine relationships with the tech ecosystem.

What you’ll grow into

  • Owning client discovery calls and managing client communication on active technical searches.
  • Developing your own network and market expertise in software engineering and technical leadership hiring.
  • Confidently discussing technical concepts with candidates and clients.
  • Eventually building and managing your own desk with full client ownership.

What We're Looking For

  • Roughly 1 3 years of experience in recruiting (agency or in house), with exposure to technical roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; you’ll be reaching out to Staff Engineers, Principal Architects, Engineering Directors, and CTOs.
  • Curious, coachable, and not precious about doing the unglamorous work early.
  • Genuine interest in how software gets built and how engineering teams operate at scale.
