Job Description
The role leads Projects Audit activities covering strategy, quality, governance, compliance, and audit delivery.
Strategy
- Ensure adherence to professional internal-audit standards and quality requirements across Projects Audit deliverables.
- Lead training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to build Projects Audit staff capabilities.
- Perform audit-team performance management and provide input to improve team effectiveness.
- Participate in committees and best-practice forums related to audit, governance, compliance, and excellence.
- Support approved executive plans and roadmaps for internal audit, governance, control, and compliance.
- Identify and evaluate risks for the internal audit plan.
- Maintain internal audit policies, procedures, manuals, and processes.
Operations
- Evaluate internal control systems for infrastructure, engineering, and maintenance works.
- Design and review audit programs to assess compliance and engagement coverage.
- Meet auditees to discuss findings and refer matters to higher management when needed.
- Audit investment projects and infrastructure or engineering activities against technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Assess agency and sector compliance with the Enterprise Project Management System (OPMS).
- Audit infrastructure and engineering inspections, including HSE activities and NOC issuance.
