Role Overview
Lead the maintenance and development of corporate facilities, buildings, and affiliated ambulance station buildings.
Provide technical oversight for construction, maintenance, facility management, infrastructure, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
Facilities and Project Planning
- Develop maintenance and facilities policies and procedures in accordance with international best practices.
- Plan and design construction, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance projects.
- Prepare studies for new ambulance stations in line with Dubai's approved urban expansion plan.
- Prepare annual budgets for construction, infrastructure, maintenance, renovation, and facility management requirements.
Tendering and Contractor Management
- Assess maintenance and development needs and prepare project documentation.
- Manage tendering, analyze technical proposals, evaluate contractor capabilities, and prepare recommendations.
- Monitor project phases for compliance with contractual timelines, approved specifications, and technical standards.
- Oversee annual maintenance and development contracts, monitor KPIs, and apply contractual penalties where applicable.
- Monitor strategic-partner development projects and prepare reports.
Operations and Technical Systems
- Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and compliance with agreed specifications and standards.
- Manage complaints and service requests, issue work orders, prioritize requests, and ensure timely completion.
- Review construction, maintenance, and development change orders and complete related contractual procedures.
- Monitor mechanical, electrical, water supply, and sewage systems and oversee preventive maintenance plans.
- Review and approve supplier maintenance reports and verify completed work against specifications.
Sustainability
- Prepare studies to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- Provide technical supervision for approved energy initiatives and submit reports and recommendations.
- Provide technical supervision for environmental sustainability initiatives and support environmental performance improvements.
Qualifications
- A master's degree in Civil Engineering, Facilities Maintenance and Management, or an equivalent discipline requires at least 9 years of experience.
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Facilities Maintenance and Management, or an equivalent discipline requires at least 11 years of experience.
Compensation
- Monthly salary listed as 30001-40000.
