Application Administrator ( Information Security ) (UAE National)

Role Overview

Application Responsibilities

• Analyze end-user application requests and support implementation and enhancement activities.
• Assist with business requirements, business cases, RFP documentation, and technical evaluation of solutions.
• Install, configure, test, and certify application features and perform quality checks on basic data setup.
• Coordinate IT facilities and end-user environments and develop application knowledge.

Training and Improvement

• Develop training materials and operating guides and conduct training for new and existing users.
• Produce reports requested by users or management.
• Monitor technology enhancement and workflow re-engineering opportunities and evaluate change requests.
• Recommend additional application functions and reports.

Information Security

• Comply with DHA information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Liaise with personnel to maintain compliance with information security requirements.
• Promote information security awareness and help build a security culture.
• Report security incidents, potential events, and other security risks.
• Protect information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction.

Minimum Qualifications

• A BSc, Higher Diploma, or equivalent qualification in computer science, MIS, or a related software engineering field is required.
• At least two years of experience as a programmer or application support officer is required.

Desired Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a similar position is desired.
• Good knowledge of Oracle DBMS and SQL scripting is desired.
• Excellent knowledge of networks and Windows is desired.
• Basic knowledge of VB programming is desired.

Compensation

• The listed salary band is 10,001–20,000 per month.

Workplace
