Role Overview
Oversee the accounts receivable function for the hotel and support financial stability and client relationships.
Provide guidance and support to the finance team while maintaining accurate and timely receivables processing.
Accounts Receivable Responsibilities
- Oversee invoicing, billing, collections, account monitoring, and reconciliation.
- Respond to guest and client inquiries about invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Generate performance reports and aging balance reports.
- Analyze receivables data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Credit and Process Management
- Assist with credit control measures and ensure compliance with credit policies and terms.
- Review credit applications and support credit decisions with the Credit Manager.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement streamlined accounts receivable practices.
Team and Compliance Duties
- Provide training and mentorship to accounts receivable team members when applicable.
- Provide updates to the head of finance and assist with internal and external audits.
- Follow financial, company, environmental, health, and safety policies.
Requirements
- Expertise in accounts receivable management.
- Ability to supervise and support a finance team.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and company accounts receivable policies.
- Ability to support credit applications and credit decisions.
- Ability to train and mentor accounts receivable team members.
