Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers, answer questions and offer support during home improvement projects.
• Unload freight, down-stock merchandise, organize shelves and set up pallets.
• Verify deliveries, complete dock preparation and use pallet jacks, forklifts and related equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through proper hazardous-materials, equipment-use and housekeeping procedures.
• Operate scanners, Zebra phones, balers and other store tools as needed.
• Complete other assigned tasks as part of the store team.

Pro Fulfillment Store Duties

• Use the Orders App to pick and stage flatbed delivery orders.
• Load delivery orders accurately and follow safe loading practices.
• Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
• Communicate proactively with customers to support delivery satisfaction.
• Execute Delivery Readiness best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the education requirement where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three months of experience operating forklifts or power equipment such as lifts and order pickers is preferred.
• Six months of warehouse experience involving inventory handling and stocking is preferred.

Schedule and Physical Conditions

• The role may require morning, afternoon, evening or overnight shifts based on store needs.
• Most shifts are physically active and involve spending most of the workday on foot.
• Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel may support meetings, training or nearby stores.
• The role may involve indoor and outdoor weather conditions, noise, moving equipment and varying temperatures.
• Single lifts are generally limited to 75 pounds, with team lifts used as needed; powered equipment requires training or assistance.

Safety and Work Environment

• Follow safe lifting practices and procedures for hazardous materials, equipment operation and housekeeping.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized backroom and sales-floor environment.

Pay

• Pay is $15.50 to $16.75 per hour.
