• Welcome customers, answer questions, and provide friendly and professional service.
• Help customers locate and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and meet customer needs.
• Organize and replenish merchandise, process orders and deliveries, and guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Prepare merchandise according to department needs, including paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds, or other products.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store and complete other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Six months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• Six months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand, sit, lift, and perform other physical activities required by the role.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted or more than 25 pounds with or without an accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.
• A trade certification related to the assigned department is preferred.

Travel and Working Conditions

• The role does not require regular travel but may include occasional travel for meetings, training, or support of neighboring stores.
• Working conditions may include indoor and outdoor weather, extreme temperatures, noise, moving equipment, and lifting merchandise.
• Powered equipment must be used with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.

Pay Range

• Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.40 per hour, with starting pay varying by position, location, education, training, and experience.
