Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Replenish empty shelf areas and process orders and deliveries accurately.
• Cross-train in other store areas and prepare merchandise according to customer needs.
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and complete other assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• At least 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 months of retail or customer service experience.
• Bilingual skills.
• Certification in a trade related to the assigned department.

Working Conditions

• The role may involve indoor and outdoor weather conditions, variable temperatures, noise, moving equipment, and lifting merchandise.
• Regular travel is not required, but occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may occur.

Pay

• The pay range is $17.00 to $18.40 per hour, with the starting rate varying by position, location, education, training, and experience.
