Waiter/Waitress cum Cashier

Job Summary

Waiter Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them to their tables.
• Present menus and explain menu items, specials, and promotions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and handle basic complaints politely.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations.

Cashier Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate bills to customers.
• Handle cash, card, and digital payments responsibly.
• Operate the POS system efficiently and accurately.
• Balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.

Additional Duties

• Follow restaurant policies and standards for hygiene, safety, and customer service.
• Assist team members during peak hours.
• Report order, payment, or customer feedback issues to management.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management.

Requirements and Skills

• Previous experience as a Waiter, Cashier, or Waiter cum Cashier.
• Dubai or UAE restaurant experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in large restaurant groups, established restaurant chains, or high-volume restaurants is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
• Good communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Honest, reliable, well-groomed, and customer-focused.

Working Conditions

• Shift-based work includes weekends and public holidays.
• The role requires standing and working for extended periods.

Compensation

• Salary is AED 2,300 to AED 3,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
• Strong Dubai or UAE experience and reputable restaurant group experience may support a higher salary package.

Workplace

• Work is performed in person.
