Position Overview
IT Assistant position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Provides technical support to head office employees and restaurant branches.
Candidates currently based in Abu Dhabi are preferred.
IT Support Duties
- Provide technical support to head office and all restaurant branches.
- Visit branches to troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, POS systems, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, internet, and system issues.
- Maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor network performance and support stable, secure, and reliable connectivity.
- Support POS systems, CCTV, biometric attendance systems, user accounts, email, passwords, and system access.
- Perform updates, backups, basic maintenance, IT asset inventory, and vendor coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support, technical support, or a related position.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and basic network security.
- Ability to provide remote and on-site technical support and travel to restaurant branches.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple technical issues, and respond promptly to urgent concerns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the restaurant, food and beverage, or hospitality industry.
- Experience with POS systems, CCTV, biometric attendance systems, printers, and office IT equipment.
- Experience in network installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
Work Location
- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- The role includes remote and on-site support and travel to different restaurant branches when required.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,300–AED 2,800 per month.
