Job Summary
Provide customer service by attending to guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and accurately handling billing and payment transactions.
Combine front-of-house service and cashier duties to support smooth restaurant operations.
Waiter Responsibilities
- Greet customers and guide them to their tables.
- Present menus and explain menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and handle basic complaints politely.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
Cashier Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue accurate bills to customers.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments responsibly.
- Operate the POS system efficiently.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Issue receipts and maintain transaction records.
Additional Duties
- Follow company policies on hygiene, safety, and customer service.
- Assist team members during peak hours.
- Report issues related to orders, payments, or customer feedback to management.
Requirements and Skills
- Previous experience as a waiter, cashier, or similar role is preferred.
- Basic mathematics and cash-handling skills are required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Candidates should be honest, reliable, and well-groomed.
Working Conditions
- The role is shift-based and includes weekends and holidays.
- The work requires standing for long periods.
Job Type and Pay
- The position is full-time.
- Pay is AED 2,300 to AED 2,500 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
