Store Helper

Role Overview

Education and Experience

• A high school or secondary school certificate is preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills are required.
• One to two years of experience as a Store Helper, Warehouse Helper, Stock Assistant, or in a similar position is required.
• Foodstuff, FMCG, supermarket, restaurant supply, or general trading experience is preferred.
• UAE warehouse experience and additional warehouse or logistics training are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload supplier deliveries and check items against delivery documents.
• Arrange products in designated storage areas and maintain required storage conditions.
• Follow FIFO and FEFO procedures and check expiry dates and product condition.
• Assist with stock counts, inventory checks, and stock transfers between warehouses or branches.
• Pick, pack, label, and organize goods according to customer or branch orders.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Move cartons using trolleys, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and report damaged, expired, missing, or incorrect products.
• Follow company health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• The candidate must be physically fit and able to lift and move cartons and food products safely.
• Basic English communication and basic mathematics are required.
• The candidate must be able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Honesty, reliability, punctuality, responsibility, teamwork, and attention to detail are expected.
• Flexible hours, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge is preferred.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners is preferred.
• UAE food safety or food handling training is advantageous.
• A UAE driving license is advantageous but is not mandatory for a purely warehouse or store helper role.

Pay

• AED 1,500–AED 2,200 per month.

Work Location

• Work is performed in person.
