About the Role
ADNOC Distribution is seeking a Maintenance Technician for CNG and Hydrogen Refuelling facilities in Abu Dhabi. You will execute preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, supervise contractors, and ensure HSE compliance.

Responsibilities
- Carry out corrective/emergency rectification of electromechanical areas at CNG Packages such as CNG compressor, electric motor, electrical switch gear, MCC room, Priority panel, CNG dispenser, Compressor cooling water circuit, PLC & Power Panels & Supervisory Panel (PSSD) and trailer mounted gas systems.
- Inspect, monitor and follow up maintenance contractors to ensure required standard of work.
- Revisit sites having had problems to inspect and assess work done.
- Check preventive maintenance reports submitted by contractors for chiller units.
- Check 3rd party contractor in carrying out maintenance jobs for CNG filling stations.
- Guide maintenance contractor to access utilities installed in CNG filling stations.
- Purchase and locally procure small maintenance related items of urgent nature using petty cash.
- Attend to various complaints at CNG filling stations related to maintenance received through SAP system.
- Conduct regular routine tests as per Predictive Maintenance schedule for CNG assets.
- Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly and carry out necessary repair works.
- Ensure safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of work.
- Undertake filing duties of completed maintenance records.

- Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical or High School graduate
- 4 years (for Diploma holders) / 6 years (for High School graduates) of experience in CNG / Natural Gas Maintenance function in oil and gas industry

Job Purpose
- Execute maintenance service required to ADNOC by inspecting, identifying and carrying out preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency repair and maintenance work for all CNG and Hydrogen Refuelling facilities in the CNG and Hydrogen Refuelling stations.
- Contact maintenance contractors for rectifying major problems and preventive maintenance, if required, in coordination with CNG Maintenance Supervisor to support integrity of equipment and compliance with HSE standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Carry out any jobs that need corrective / emergency rectification of electromechanical areas at CNG Packages such as CNG compressor, electric motor, electrical switch gear, MCC room, Priority panel, CNG dispenser, Compressor cooling water circuit, PLC & Power Panels & Supervisory Panel (PSSD) and tr
- Inspect, monitor and follow up the maintenance contractors to ensure that required standard of work is provided and all reported problems are rectified satisfactorily.
- Revisit sites having had problems to inspect and assess the work done, ensuring the problem is rectified as per standards and preparing a written report and submit to CNG Maintenance Supervisor.
- Check the preventive maintenance reports submitted by maintenance contractors for the chiller units in CNG filling stations, determining if any equipment is due for replacement.
- Check the 3rd party contractor in carrying out a variety of maintenance jobs for the CNG filling stations, undertaking daily rotational checking and inspection of electro mechanical areas such as chillers.
- Guide the maintenance contractor to access the various utilities installed in the CNG filling stations in accordance with the as built drawings.
- Purchase and locally procure small maintenance related items of urgent nature using petty cash.
- Attend to various complaints at CNG filling stations related to maintenance received through the SAP system for CNG assets.
- Conduct regular routine tests as per the Predictive Maintenance schedule for CNG assets.
- Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly, carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipment is returned to service as soon as possible, while ensuring all safety precautions are taken.
- Ensure the safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work in a hazardous area (safety checks).
- Undertake filing duties of the entire completed Preventive / Predictive / Corrective / Emergency Maintenance on a regular basis.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical or High School graduate
- 4 years (for Diploma holders) / 6 years (for High School graduates) of experience in CNG / Natural Gas Maintenance function in oil and gas industry.
