- Develop and implement the format development strategy and roadmap for ADNOC Distribution
- Conduct market research, customer analysis, competitor benchmarking, and feasibility studies
- Prepare and manage format development budget, timeline, and resources
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators and success criteria for format development projects
- Lead and supervise cross functional teams and external partners
- Oversee design, development, and testing of new formats and solutions
- Conduct pilot tests and trials, analyze feedback, and provide recommendations
- Coordinate with Integration Manager and Concepts Manager for smooth integration
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, design, business administration, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in retail, format development, design, or related field
- At least 5 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative and profitable retail formats
- Strong knowledge of retail industry, market trends, and customer needs
- Excellent design, development, testing, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, and other relevant software

Job Purpose
- Responsible for developing and implementing new retail formats and solutions for ADNOC Distribution.
- Ensures alignment with strategic objectives and customer needs.
- Oversees design, development, and testing of new formats and solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement format development strategy and roadmap.
- Conduct market research, customer analysis, competitor benchmarking, and feasibility studies.
- Prepare and manage format development budget, timeline, and resources.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and success criteria.
- Lead and supervise cross functional teams and external partners.
- Oversee design, development, and testing of new formats and solutions.
- Conduct pilot tests and trials, analyze feedback, and provide recommendations.
- Coordinate with Integration Manager and Concepts Manager.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
