Job Purpose

  • Analyse all aspects of the Retail Group business performance data for the assigned market and provide comprehensive reports to support strategic management decision making.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with Retail Management to identify business needs and facilitate development of business solutions.
  • Assist in defining initiatives, including cost benefit analysis and operational feasibility studies.
  • Generate high quality periodic and ad hoc reports for management review.
  • Establish reports and insights in line with strategy and guidelines.
  • Monitor financial performance versus budgets and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop standard procedures to manage business operational and financial objectives.
  • Identify and support business process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Apply structured problem solving to identify barriers to performance.
  • Support operational planning and target rollout based on data and analytics.
  • Utilise internal and external data inputs for market assessment.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management or equivalent with 6 years of experience in Retail industry.
  • MBA from premier institute with 2 to 4 years of experience in top tier management consulting.
  • 6 years of total work experience with top tier management consulting in Retail and fuel station segments or Retail industry experience in strategy, business planning and program management.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Financial modelling and business intelligence tools.
  • BI Dashboard development experience a plus.
  • Ability to multi task and work in short deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of business workflows, operations processes and systems.
  • Innovative and conceptual thinking.
