Role purpose

Lead product development and technical operational evolution for Parkonic’s digital ecosystem.

Own responsibilities for Parkonic Oculus, operational platforms, command-center capabilities, integrations, monitoring, and technology-driven process improvement.

Translate business requirements into scalable digital products and ensure reliable live-operation performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for Parkonic Oculus and related operational technology platforms.
  • Translate management and departmental requirements into product specifications and development priorities.
  • Define and prioritize dashboards, workflows, alerts, automation features, and operational modules.
  • Manage product backlogs, requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate across technical, operational, finance, business development, and external partner teams.
  • Oversee reliability, uptime, transaction performance, and integration health.
  • Ensure integrations across ANPR, payment platforms, Salik, Darb, ERP, CRM, NOC, and other systems.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and permanent corrective actions for recurring issues.
  • Drive process automation and establish technical and operational SLAs.
  • Support new parking-site and major-client deployment and onboarding.
  • Ensure internal adoption of new products and functionality.
  • Prepare product and operational performance reports for senior management.

Required experience

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, technical operations, enterprise platforms, or digital transformation.
  • At least 3 years in a senior product or technology leadership position.
  • Experience managing enterprise software or mission-critical operational platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, cloud platforms, system integrations, and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Experience with IoT, mobility, fintech, tolling, smart-city, transportation, or high-volume transactional systems is highly preferred.

Qualifications and technical knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or equivalent.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
  • Product Management, Agile, Scrum, or similar certification is preferred.
  • The source lists 8 years of product management, technical operations, and relevant platform experience as required.
  • A UAE driving license is required.
