Role overview
IMEP Engineering & Contracting is seeking an experienced Technical Coordinator for its Dubai team.
The role requires independent ownership of assigned projects and timely technical decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor technical activities across projects from start to completion.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, scopes of work, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Identify technical issues and potential problems before they affect project progress.
- Coordinate approvals, materials, manpower, technical documents, inspections, RFIs, and submittals.
- Monitor progress and provide practical solutions considering quality, cost, time, and company interests.
- Prepare and review reports, method statements, submittals, BOQs, quotations, and project documents.
- Provide management updates on project status, requirements, and critical issues.
Candidate requirements
- UAE/GCC experience is mandatory.
- Experience in technical or project coordination within MEP, engineering, contracting, or facilities management.
- Strong technical understanding and practical project experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and anticipate requirements.
