Role Overview

IMEP Engineering & Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Glass & Aluminium Engineer to manage technical and site execution.

The role covers aluminium, glazing, and façade works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage aluminium doors, windows, curtain walls, shopfronts, glazing, and façade systems.
  • Review drawings, specifications, calculations, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.
  • Coordinate fabrication, material procurement, measurements, and site installation.
  • Prepare and review material submittals and technical documents.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Supervise glass processing, aluminium fabrication, and site works.
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Resolve technical and site coordination issues.
  • Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and fabrication schedules.
  • Coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, and handover.

Requirements

  • Engineering or technical qualification in Civil, Architectural, Aluminium/Glazing, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of UAE or GCC experience in glass and aluminium works.
  • Strong knowledge of curtain walls, DGU/IGU, structural glazing, aluminium doors and windows, and façade systems.
  • Good understanding of aluminium profiles, hardware, sealants, and glazing systems.
  • Ability to read and understand shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
  • Strong site and fabrication coordination skills.
  • A UAE driving licence is preferred.

Pay

  • Pay starts at AED 7,000 per month.

Work Location

  • Work is performed in person.
