Support civil, MEP, fit-out, renovation, and turnkey projects as an MEP Engineer specializing in fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
The role is located in Dubai, UAE and requires a minimum of 5–8 years of experience, preferably in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise fire fighting and fire alarm installation works.
- Review drawings, shop drawings, calculations, and technical submissions.
- Coordinate with consultants, Civil Defence, and other authorities.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
- Review material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Coordinate with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and architectural teams.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and UAE requirements.
- Attend inspections and coordinate testing, commissioning, and approvals.
- Identify and resolve site technical issues.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5–8 years of UAE or GCC experience in MEP projects.
- Strong experience with fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
- Knowledge of NFPA, the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, and Civil Defence requirements.
- Experience with sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, fire pump, and fire alarm systems.
- AutoCAD knowledge is required; Revit or BIM is an advantage.
- Strong coordination and site management skills.
- UAE driving licence is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 5,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person in Dubai, UAE.
