About the Role
ADNOC Distribution is seeking a Team Leader for CNG & Hydrogen Operations to lead, direct, and manage activities ensuring safe and efficient distribution of CNG across the UAE. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10-12 years of experience in CNG plant operations with managerial responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Manage, lead and monitor CNG & Hydrogen operations daily tasks and provide training and mentoring to team members
- Plan, direct, coordinate and supervise operational activities and assigned personnel
- Manage Gas Purchase Agreements with main gas suppliers
- Oversee liaising with gas suppliers to ensure product availability and quality
- Review daily CNG & Hydrogen operations for efficient product storage, receipts and deliveries
- Develop and implement CNG & Hydrogen Operations Standards, Procedures and Specifications
- Ensure safety precautions and PTW procedures are followed
- Approve maintenance and shutdown of CNG & Hydrogen plants and fuelling stations
- Oversee distribution planning and management for prompt delivery to service stations and bulk customers
- Monitor budget and review manpower and operating expenses
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or related discipline
- 10 12 years of experience in CNG plant operations and maintenance role
- 3 4 years in managerial responsibilities
- Good working knowledge of Computers
- Good Leadership and Interpersonal skills
- High Problem solving and decision making ability
- Effective planning and organization capabilities
- Good knowledge of English language
- Arabic language will be a positive advantage
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage

Job Purpose
- To lead, direct and manage activities of CNG & Hydrogen Operations department ensuring safe, economic, smooth and timely distribution, availability and supply of CNG to ADNOC service stations and customer sites throughout the UAE.
CNG Operations Management
- Manage, leads and monitors the CNG & Hydrogen operations on the daily assigned tasks in addition to imparting the required training & mentoring for the team members.
- Plans, directs, co ordinates and supervises the operational activities and assigned personnel.
- Manages the Gas Purchase Agreements (GSA) with the main gas suppliers including joint meter reading, GRN’s and calibration of custody transfer equipment.
- Oversee and lead liaising with Gas suppliers to ensure availability of products as per requirements.
- Reviewing daily CNG & Hydrogen operations to ensure that product storage, receipts and deliveries by pipeline, are accomplished efficiently.
- Develop, lead, manage, maintain and implement CNG & Hydrogen Operations Standards, Procedures and Specifications.
- Ensures all safety precautions are taken and PTW procedures are followed.
Equipment Maintenance
- Approve maintenance and shutdown of the CNG & Hydrogen plants & fuelling stations.
- Review all operation and maintenance projects to ensure planning, organization and supervision.
Expansion and New Projects
- Responsible for up gradation & development of Company’s infrastructure and existing CNG & Hydrogen facilities.
- Coordinates and follow up with EPD on the progress of any new projects.
- Ensures proper commissioning of New Equipment and re commissioning of Overhauled / Repaired Equipment.
- Participate in projects reviews like HAZOP, HSEIA, HAZID and Risk Assessment.
Contractor Management
- Monitor the quality and progress of work performed by the Contractor.
- Evaluate potential contractor and suppliers for various CNG & Hydrogen services.
Distribution Management
- Oversee the overall process of distribution planning and management.
- Acts as Authorizing Engineer for CNG stations and CNG Trailers operations.
- Participates in Emergency and Incident Standby as a key team member.
Performance monitoring, control and optimization
- Monitors the budget and continuously reviews manpower and operating expenses.
- Continuously reviews cost elements and develop initiatives for increasing productivity.
- Organizes and manages Operations audits.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or in any related discipline.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 10 12 years of experience in CNG plant operations and maintenance role, including 3 4 years in managerial responsibilities.
- Good working knowledge of Computers.
- Good Leadership and Interpersonal skills.
- High Problem solving and decision making ability.
- Effective planning and organization capabilities.
- Good knowledge of English language. Arabic language will be a positive advantage.
