About the Role
The Systems Specialist joins the Technology Operations team to administer, implement, monitor, and support secure and resilient on-premises infrastructure.
The role manages Microsoft and VMware environments, core infrastructure services, business continuity, and operational improvement.
Infrastructure Operations
- Manage enterprise on-premises infrastructure, Windows and Linux servers, operating system upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
- Administer Active Directory, file services, DNS, DHCP, identity services, Microsoft 365, VMware, hardware, storage, and endpoint platforms.
- Maintain email, antivirus, anti-spam, endpoint protection, call center infrastructure, SCCM, SCOM, Intune, proxy, and reverse proxy technologies.
Monitoring and Security
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, security events, risks, and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate incidents and service disruptions, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
