Role Overview

Leadership and Azure Operations

• Lead and manage Azure engineers, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Oversee and optimize Azure workloads, DevOps, DevSecOps, SaaS, and Databricks environments.
• Plan, lead, and deliver Azure infrastructure projects within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
• Architect, deploy, operate, and administer Azure PaaS and services such as Web Apps, Application Gateway, and API Management.

Automation and Monitoring

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Azure-based services.
• Implement automation using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Monitor system health and define dashboards, logs, and metrics for operational visibility.
• Prepare leadership reports on Azure performance, KPIs, incidents, consumption, and trends.

Security and Compliance

• Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, vulnerabilities, and risks across Azure environments.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans and ensure timely remediation.
• Manage Azure audits and collaborate with cross-functional teams on security and technology improvements.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Microsoft Azure certifications, including Azure Administrator and Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• ITIL certification.
• At least seven years of experience in Azure administration.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure, ARM, Azure AD, virtual networks, cloud security, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and automation tools.
• Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• MBA or project management certification, including Agile or Waterfall.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001.
• At least five years of experience managing Azure projects.
• Understanding of GDPR, PCI, ISO, and UAE security regulations.
• Strong knowledge of security governance and information security operations.
