Role Overview
Systems engineering is a cross-functional discipline covering business and technical needs from concept through production and operation.
The role supports technically sound solutions, system requirements, design concepts, verification, integration, and execution.
The position performs standard operational and technical tasks while supporting the work of the wider team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate systems solutions and control technical risk.
- Perform EBoP equipment sizing, detailed design, and plant engineering.
- Design transformers, motors, MV/LV switchgear, control schemes, UPS systems, batteries, cabling, earthing, lightning protection, and lighting.
- Prepare schematics, single-line diagrams, general arrangements, bills of materials, reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Review vendor technical offers and documentation and prepare contractual technical documentation.
- Coordinate with GE businesses, supply chain, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, client requirements, and company and customer EHS policies.
