Senior Project Engineering Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of engineering activities for the PDG scope, aligned with schedule, budget, and technical requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and integrate deliverables with project milestones.
• Act as the technical lead across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and customer interfaces.
• Manage technical communication with customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Maintain risk registers, drive mitigation plans, and enforce structured change management.
• Ensure quality, EHS compliance, internal process adherence, and industry best practices.
• Represent engineering in governance, reporting progress, issues, and KPIs.
• Support site teams during construction and commissioning and resolve technical issues.
• Mentor project engineers and conduct thorough reviews of time, cost, quality, delivery, and risks.

Required qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Power Systems, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Project Engineering Manager or similar EPC role.
• Experience in energy, transmission, distribution, oil and gas, power generation, or similar industries.
• At least two delivered medium-to-large EPC projects and experience managing a $10 million or larger engineering budget.
• Strong project management, multidisciplinary coordination, risk management, technical interface, and change control experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English and comfortable with occasional international travel.

Preferred experience

• HVDC experience is a strong asset but is not required.
• Relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure or industrial EPC projects is welcomed.

Workplace and travel

• The role is based from the Noida office.
• Occasional travel in Europe and internationally may be required for project needs.
