Role overview
Support project engineering delivery for new grid and green-energy transition projects within GE Vernova's Northern European Grid Solutions business.
Assist project engineering leadership with engineering activities that meet project safety, quality, schedule, and cost criteria.
Focus on project engineering management, supplier technical coordination, and technical interface management.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate drawing lists and submission dates for projects or assigned work packages.
- Plan technical interface delivery and establish interface sheets with partners, customers, and contractors.
- Coordinate design delivery, documentation status, design reviews, changes, claims, and variation orders.
- Analyze customer requirements, manage technical queries, and track contractual compliance.
- Prepare or review technical specifications and supplier documentation for procurement and detailed design.
- Lead supplier engineering coordination from requirements definition through commissioning and as-built documentation.
- Support vendor selection and manage the Bill of Quantities, deviations, and project changes.
Required qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent education or experience.
- Hands-on experience leading equipment manufacturers and supplier engineering activities in an EPC environment for high-voltage transmission projects.
- Experience managing project technical activities in multidisciplinary teams with multiple interfaces and international products.
- Knowledge of the transmission or distribution industry and HV/LV components and systems.
Desired qualifications
- Knowledge of HVDC systems, FACTS, or renewable energy systems is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Autonomous working style and flexibility to reprioritize according to project needs.
