About the Role
DSV is seeking a Supervisor for Road Operations in Abu Dhabi to support fleet and transport activities, coordinate cross-border and domestic deliveries, manage asset registers, and oversee vendor RFQs.

Responsibilities
- Support day to day fleet, transport, and operational administrative activities
- Coordinate cross border and domestic transport operations to ensure smooth and timely deliveries
- Prepare and oversee the department asset register pertaining to office equipment
- Coordinate vendor and service RFQ’s process, ensuring contractual obligations are addressed and documented
- Prepare and coordinate LPO’s in accordance with company guidelines
- Actively maintain all operating systems (JOBS/Micro Transport) to ensure information accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate monthly asset internal billing process with internal departments
- Manage information to ensure data entry is accurate and timely; generate reports
- Prepare and oversee all HR processes to ensure absenteeism and overtime are administered proficiently
- Oversee QA/QC of SLA’s/SOP’s to ensure operational conformance of legislative and regulatory requirements
- Maintain professional partnering relationships with inter department teams and industry sector affiliates
- Perform any other related duties/projects assigned by General Manager Transport
Requirements

Responsibilities

- Coordinating cross border and domestic transport operations to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
- Preparing and overseeing the department asset register pertaining to office equipment to ensure records are maintained and updated.
- Coordinating vendor and service RFQ’s process, ensuring all contractual obligations are clearly addressed and documented thus maximizing cost efficiencies.
- Preparing and coordinating LPO’s in accordance with company guidelines to ensure expenditure is maintained within budget.
- Actively maintaining all operating systems (JOBS/Micro Transport) to ensure information is accurate and the timeliness of data is completed within process timeframes.
- Coordinating the monthly asset internal billing process with internal departments to ensure that it is accurate and completed within process timeframe.
- Managing information to ensure data entry is accurate and timely; report generation is concise, accurate, pertinent and timely in accordance with activity schedules or agreed time frames; system files are maintained and updated
- Preparing and overseeing all HR processes to ensure absenteeism and overtime are administered proficiently.
- Overseeing QA/QC of SLA’s/SOP’s to ensure operational signoff and operational conformance of all legislative and regulatory requirements is achieved.
- Compiling with all operational procedures and practices which may be required, maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork, shared goals and values, motivation, and staff development.
- Maintaining professional partnering relationships with inter department teams across all parts of the Dubai operation and with industry sector affiliates.
Qualifications & Characteristics
- Education: Bachelors or Diploma
- Work Experience: 3 years experience in logistics and transportation industry
- Specific Skills: Communication skills (oral & written), Analytical skills, Computer skills, Planning and time management skills
