About the Role
DSV is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage monthly payroll for GCC countries with accuracy and efficiency. The role requires strong knowledge of GCC labor laws, payroll processing, and reconciliation, reporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll.

Responsibilities
- Handle and prepare all payroll for GCC countries with accuracy
- Adhere to payroll timelines and ensure 100% payroll processed as per monthly timelines
- Process authorized deductions and allocations of Insurance paid by both employee and employer
- Process end of service settlement of exit employees in accordance with labor law and company policies
- Create payroll accruals entries for end of service benefits, air fare, leave, benefits and bonus
- Reconcile payroll accounts on a monthly basis
- Responsible for payment / bank transfers within the payroll process
- Prepare pay slips and dispatch to employees
- Coordinate with Finance for pre and post payroll activities
- Provide support for company audits related to payroll
- Ensure all invoices related to Insurance are checked and booked on a timely basis
- Work closely with CFO’s and HR on a monthly basis for all payroll and benefits related activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in processing the entire payroll cycle for UAE or GCC countries
- Strong knowledge and understanding of GCC labour laws in relation to wages
- Experience with monthly accruals and reporting is an advantage
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Position Overview
- The payroll specialist is primarily responsible to ensure all payroll activities are completed with accuracy and efficiency on a monthly basis.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Handle and prepare all payroll for GCC countries with accuracy.
- Adhere to payroll timelines and ensure 100% payroll processed as per monthly timelines.
- Processes authorized deductions and allocations of Insurance paid by both the employee and employer in order to calculate precise monthly wages.
- Processes the end of service settlement of exit employees to settle their dues in accordance with the labor law and company policies.
- Create payroll accruals entries for end of service benefits, air fare, leave, benefits and bonus.
- Reconcile payroll accounts on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for payment / bank transfers within the payroll process.

Qualifications & Characteristics
- Must possess a minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in processing the entire payroll cycle for UAE or GCC countries.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of GCC labour laws in relation to wages.
- Experience with monthly accruals and reporting is an advantage.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
