About the Role
ADNOC Distribution seeks a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment at civil aviation depots across the UAE. Responsibilities
- Supervise service, repair and maintenance of mechanical systems including pipelines, valves, pumps, measurement instruments, air compressors, and storage tanks
- Review and allocate daily work orders for maintenance at aviation fuelling stations and storage facilities
- Coordinate with end users for repairs, replacement, modification, calibration, and overhaul
- Ensure regular routine and scheduled inspection and maintenance of mechanical equipment
- Inspect equipment for signs of corrosion and implement anti corrosive techniques
- Ensure breakdowns are attended promptly and equipment returned to service quickly
- Ensure safety precautions and work permits are issued before work commences
- Ensure major overhaul, testing, and calibration of mechanical equipment is carried out per procedures
- Investigate and report recurring defects on mechanical equipment
- Prepare stores requisitions for spare parts and check stock for correct part numbers
- Supervise maintenance and repair of ADNOC facilities at civil aviation locations including carpentry and painting by third party contractors
- Assist in establishing methods, controls, and standards for maintenance work execution
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical
- 5 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance department of an Aviation Fuelling company
- Expert level competency of Aviation equipment and vehicles
- Good knowledge of English
- Valid UAE driving license

Job Purpose
- To supervise safe and efficient execution of preventive & corrective maintenance, inspections, and repair works for all static and mobile mechanical systems and equipment at ADNOC Aviation Depots at civil airports across the UAE.
- Ensure compliance with aviation standards and manufacturers recommendations while optimising manpower and material resources.
Mechanical Maintenance Supervision
- Supervises service, repair and maintenance of all mechanical systems and equipment including pipelines, valves, transfer pumps, measurement instruments, process facilities, air compressors and storage tanks.
- Reviews and allocates daily work orders for maintenance works at Aviation Fuelling stations and Storage facilities.
- Coordinates with end users for repairs, replacement, modification, calibration, overhaul etc.
- Ensures regular routine and scheduled inspection and maintenance of all mechanical equipment.
- Inspects equipment for signs of corrosion, assists in implementing anti corrosive techniques, maintains records.
- Ensures breakdowns are attended promptly and equipment returned to service as soon as possible.
- Ensures all safety precautions are taken and work permits are issued before commencement.
- Ensures major overhaul of mechanical equipment, testing and calibration is carried out per procedures.
- Investigates and reports recurring defects on mechanical equipment.
- Prepares stores requisitions for spare parts; checks stock for correct part numbers and specifications.
- Ensures all jobs are carried out as per Aviation Operations Standards and work instructions.
- Ensures documents in custody are maintained and updated per Document Control Procedures.
General Maintenance
- Supervise and ensure maintenance and repair of ADNOC facilities in all civil aviation locations including carpentry, painting works by third party contractors.
- Timely raise and highlight major civil and general maintenance work to team leader and department manager.
Continuous Improvement, Reporting and Analysis
- Assists in establishing methods, controls and standards for actual execution of maintenance work.
- Recommends improvements on work methods and keeps up to date with latest techniques and standards.
- Evaluates and analyses man hours and costs to ensure optimum utilisation of manpower and material resources.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Diploma in Mechanical.
- 5 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance department of an Aviation Fuelling company.
- Expert level competency of Aviation equipment and vehicles.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Valid UAE driving license.
