Role Overview
The employer is hiring an experienced Senior Structural Engineer for construction and engineering work.
The role requires hands-on expertise in structural shop drawings, calculations, RFIs, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 16,000-20,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review structural shop drawings, construction drawings, technical details, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Handle RFIs, design clarifications, subcontractor submissions, design discrepancies, constructability issues, and technical conflicts.
- Coordinate structural works with architectural, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Participate in technical meetings, conduct site visits, provide construction support, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Supervise and coordinate draftsmen and technical personnel where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering and construction.
- Strong experience with structural shop drawings, calculations, RFIs, technical submissions, and subcontractor shop drawings.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, standards, specifications, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience with large-scale building or infrastructure projects and strong consultant or client coordination experience is preferred.
