Job Overview
The Construction Contracts Administrator reports to the Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or Commercial Manager.
The role administers construction contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring obligations are met, risks are minimized, and documentation complies with applicable standards.
The position is full-time in Dubai, UAE, with a salary of AED 10,000–14,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tender documents and coordinate scope and pricing with estimators and project managers.
- Participate in negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers and administer FIDIC, NEC, JCT, or bespoke contracts.
- Track milestones and deliverables and process notices, claims, extensions of time, variations, and other correspondence.
- Maintain contract records, support compliance and dispute resolution, and liaise with legal advisors.
- Evaluate subcontractor claims and payment applications and support final accounts and close-out.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or a related field.
- Three to seven years of contract administration or contract management experience in construction.
- Experience with FIDIC, JCT, NEC, or other standard contract forms and a strong understanding of construction contract law.
- Large-scale infrastructure or building project experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, risk management, communication, collaboration, and document management skills.
- MS Office proficiency is required; Aconex, Procore, or similar contract management software experience is advantageous.
- Professional contract management certification or training is advantageous.
