Job Overview

Employment and Compensation

• The role is offered for one year and is extendable.
• The stated salary is AED 22,000 per month.

Quality Management Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the company-wide QMS.
• Ensure departments and project sites comply with QMS procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Ensure construction work and materials meet contractual requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
• Coordinate QA/QC inspections, testing, and field quality control operations.
• Plan and coordinate internal and external quality audits.
• Monitor non-conformities, corrective actions, preventive actions, and audit findings through closure.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, project, client, consultant, and subcontractor teams.
• Review quality plans, ITPs, method statements, project documentation, and quality records.
• Identify quality risks and implement corrective, preventive, and continuous improvement measures.
• Prepare quality reports, audit reports, performance indicators, and management review inputs.

Authority and Team Leadership

• Issue NCRs for non-compliance with the company QMS and applicable ISO requirements.
• Require corrective and preventive actions for identified quality issues.
• Stop or recommend stopping defective work that does not meet approved documents, specifications, or standards.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and support to QA/QC engineers, inspectors, coordinators, and other quality personnel.
• Escalate significant quality and compliance issues to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of QA/QC experience in construction, including significant senior leadership experience.
• Strong experience managing a company-wide QMS across multiple projects and departments.
• ISO training and strong knowledge of ISO 9001 are required.
• Advanced knowledge of construction quality standards, specifications, best practices, and regulations.
• Strong understanding of audits, inspections, testing, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
• Experience managing and developing QA/QC teams across multiple projects.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• A master's degree, ISO Lead Auditor training, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 knowledge, and Arabic are advantageous or preferred.
