Role Overview
Manage and oversee inventory operations at the central warehouse and main kitchen.
The role covers receiving goods, inspecting quality, managing stock levels, and maintaining food safety and inventory control standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive fresh, frozen, and dry food items from suppliers and verify quantities, prices, and quality against purchase orders.
- Track daily incoming and outgoing inventory, update stock management software, and perform regular physical stock counts.
- Maintain proper temperature conditions for chillers and freezers and enforce FIFO standards to prevent expiration and waste.
- Coordinate with kitchen managers and section heads to fulfill daily stock requisitions efficiently.
- Monitor wastage, record damaged or expired goods, and report stock discrepancies to management.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas in compliance with local food authority and municipality regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven Storekeeper experience specifically in the food and beverage or restaurant sector.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, shelf-life management, and proper temperature storage protocols.
- At least 1 year of F&B experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,400 per month.
Workplace
- Work is performed in person.
- Interviews are conducted at the head office.
