Role overview

Workplace

• The role is based on-site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
• Technical stores operations require 24/7 coverage and flexible shifts.

Technical stores

• Manage technical bonded stores activities for aircraft parts, equipment, supplies, and other technical materials.
• Maintain storage compliance with GCAA rules, regulations, and OEM requirements.
• Evaluate and improve storekeeping methods, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Develop systems and processes for selecting tools, equipment, and suitable stores layouts.

Operations and inventory

• Manage smooth technical stores operations with 24/7 coverage.
• Ensure immediate material support to aircraft maintenance activities.
• Allocate sufficient manpower to stores operations at all times.
• Manage tool store functions and control tools supporting routine and maintenance checks.
• Control customer inventory and complete physical stock checks and timely reconciliation.

Safety and quality

• Adhere to safety and quality manual procedures.
• Promote workplace safety and encourage reporting of unsafe acts, conditions, and risks.
• Collaborate with Technical Maintenance, Compliance & Quality, and Corporate Safety teams on safety initiatives and store audits.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree or diploma in aircraft maintenance engineering.
• At least five years of aviation industry experience in aircraft maintenance stores and logistics.
• Supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance stores and logistics is preferred.
• Good understanding of technical manuals and aviation spares.

Additional qualifications

• AMOS experience is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to adapt to diverse, multicultural environments and work flexible shifts in demanding conditions.
• Leadership skills to manage teams and communicate with diverse stakeholders across all levels.
