Store Helper

Role Overview

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Store Helper, Warehouse Helper, Stock Assistant, or similar role.
• Minimum high school or secondary school certificate is preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, mathematics, and English communication skills are required.
• Foodstuff, FMCG, supermarket, restaurant supply, general trading, or UAE warehouse experience is preferred or advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload supplier deliveries and check delivered items against delivery documents.
• Arrange products in designated storage areas and maintain required storage conditions.
• Follow FIFO and FEFO procedures and check expiry dates and product conditions.
• Assist with stock counting, inventory checks, and transfers between warehouses or branches.
• Pick, pack, label, organize, load, and dispatch products according to customer or branch orders.
• Use trolleys, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment to move cartons and products safely.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization and report damaged, expired, missing, or incorrect products.
• Follow company health, safety, and hygiene procedures.

Required Skills

• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move cartons and food products safely.
• Attention to detail, basic counting skills, teamwork, communication, punctuality, and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and handle company stock responsibly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• Previous experience with ERP or warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge and familiarity with barcode scanners are advantageous.
• UAE food safety or food handling training is advantageous.
• A UAE driving license is advantageous but is not mandatory for a warehouse-only role.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 1,500–2,200 per month.
