Role Description
- This is a full time, on site role located in Abu Dhabi for a Steel Fixer.
- The Steel Fixer will be responsible for cutting, bending, and positioning steel bars or mesh in concrete structures based on technical drawings.
- Daily tasks include assembling and securing steel reinforcements using tools, ensuring structural stability, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating closely with engineers and construction staff.
- Maintaining and repairing tools and equipment will also be part of the role.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in using Power Tools effectively
- Proficiency in Welding and working with Iron
- Understanding and adherence to Fall Protection standards and practices
- Experience with Rigging, including securing and moving heavy loads
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Physical strength and stamina, with the ability to perform tasks in various working conditions
