Staff Site Reliability Engineer role focused on strengthening reliability across a large-scale advertising ecosystem.
The role combines hands-on engineering, architecture, automation, incident leadership, and long-term platform resilience.
The position supports highly available, low-latency systems spanning ad serving, auctions, targeting, reporting, measurement, and billing.
Accountabilities
- Lead reliability initiatives across critical advertising domains, including ad serving, auctions, targeting, reporting, measurement, attribution, and billing.
- Partner with engineering leadership on roadmaps for reliability, scalability, operational excellence, and developer productivity.
- Design and build scalable platforms, tooling, automation, and infrastructure capabilities.
- Lead architecture reviews and influence technical decisions for high-traffic, revenue-critical distributed systems.
- Establish and monitor reliability metrics and SLOs for critical advertiser and platform journeys.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead complex incident investigations and production responses.
- Identify systemic risks and implement durable improvements to availability, performance, scalability, and operational maturity.
- Drive automation, observability, incident management, and performance optimization practices.
