Role overview

The partner company is seeking a Director of Growth based in the United States.

This leadership role owns acquisition, conversion, revenue growth, unit economics, and marketing investment across a diversified channel portfolio.

The role reports to the CMO and combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Accountabilities

  • Define acquisition and conversion strategy, growth plans, forecasts, budgets, and portfolio investment decisions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Growth organization and agency or partner ecosystem.
  • Own online and offline acquisition channels and scale new channels, audiences, partnerships, and distribution opportunities.
  • Establish testing programs and lead conversion experimentation across the customer journey.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Brand, Creative, Operations, and Organic Growth teams.
  • Define KPIs and strengthen measurement through attribution, media mix modeling, incrementality, cohort analysis, LTV analysis, forecasting, and dashboards.
  • Use AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve experimentation, creative development, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Translate analytical findings into growth actions, investment decisions, and executive recommendations.

Requirements

  • 12 or more years of progressive experience in Growth Marketing, Performance Marketing, Customer Acquisition, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years leading teams, functions, or complex multi-channel growth portfolios.
  • Proven success scaling customer and revenue growth through sophisticated multi-channel acquisition.
  • Experience managing significant marketing investments, ideally including eight-figure annual budgets.
  • Expertise in digital and offline performance marketing, conversion optimization, experimentation, SEO, organic growth, and growth economics.
  • Strong knowledge of CAC, LTV, payback, attribution, media mix modeling, incrementality, forecasting, and media optimization.
  • Ability to use analytics, customer insights, AI, and automation to improve performance and decision-making.
  • Strong executive communication, commercial judgment, people leadership, and cross-functional influence.
  • Relevant experience in energy, clean technology, healthcare, fintech, subscriptions, marketplaces, or consumer technology is a plus.
