Role Overview
The partner company is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Monetization & Billing, based in Canada.
The role owns strategy and infrastructure for pricing, packaging, billing, metering, and entitlements for a B2B SaaS platform.
The position influences retention, expansion, churn reduction, partner revenue, and scalable product experiences.
Accountabilities
- Own monetization and billing product strategy, including pricing, packaging, subscription billing, usage-based pricing, metering, entitlements, invoicing, and related infrastructure.
- Drive net revenue retention through upsell and expansion while reducing downsell, churn, and revenue leakage.
- Define and communicate NRR, expansion revenue, and partner-sourced revenue metrics.
- Lead pricing and packaging decisions across self-serve, sales-assisted, enterprise, and partner motions.
- Lead the billing and metering roadmap across CRM, quote-to-cash, invoicing, and revenue-reporting systems.
- Develop partner and agency monetization models, including billing, discounting, incentives, and revenue sharing.
- Improve payment, dunning, and collections processes.
- Design and interpret pricing experiments using customer and business data.
- Monitor SaaS monetization and competitive trends.
- Communicate strategy and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
