About the Company

What You'll Do

• Serve as the most experienced designer, set expectations, and help shape the design organization as it grows.
• Mature design systems and processes while creating intuitive interfaces for complex medical data.
• Optimize experiences across web and mobile platforms and collaborate with engineering to deliver designs.
• Conduct interviews with doctors and healthcare practitioners to inform product direction and roadmap decisions.

Core Qualifications

• At least 6 years of UX/UI design experience across web and mobile, supported by a portfolio of complex design work.
• Experience leading design for a particular product over multiple years.
• Strong understanding of current design tools and practices.
• Product management experience, including user interviews and translating insights into product features.
• Ability to simplify complex information, create intuitive flows, and communicate decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare or healthcare data experience is preferred.
• Accessibility experience, familiarity with AI and machine learning, and design systems experience are preferred.
• Experience integrating products with complex systems such as electronic health records is preferred.
• Experience with usability testing, surveys, or other research methods beyond interviews is preferred.

Work Environment
