Role Overview

Work Arrangement

IT Operations and Endpoint Support

• Provide support from daily help-desk tickets through complex senior-level escalations across macOS, Windows, Linux, hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Manage endpoint provisioning, MDM, identity, access control, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Administer SaaS and collaboration platforms and maintain IT asset inventories, runbooks, SOPs, and diagrams.
• Implement IT security policies for device management, encryption, and acceptable use.
• Improve IT processes, tooling, automation, and staff capability.

Networking and Cross-Domain Infrastructure

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Install and support routers, layer 2/3 switches, next-generation firewalls, and access points using VLAN, VRF, OSPF/BGP, QoS, and DNS.
• Build and maintain classified, air-gapped, multi-enclave, and zero-trust networks.
• Operate cross-domain solutions that securely move data between low-side and high-side networks.
• Manage COMSEC and Type-1 or HAIPE inline network encryptors and associated key material.
• Harden infrastructure to DISA STIGs and support RMF/ATO activities, audits, and documentation.
• Monitor network performance, manage upgrades, and provide on-call support for critical infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• 6–9 years of IT engineering, systems administration, and/or network engineering experience with senior-level support and network build-out.
• Strong expertise in routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and QoS.
• Experience with enterprise network hardware and macOS, Windows, and Linux endpoint administration.
• Experience supporting secure or classified networks, including air-gapped or multi-enclave environments.
• Familiarity with cross-domain data transfer and associated security controls.
• Working knowledge of DISA STIGs, system hardening, and the DoD RMF/ATO process.
• Proficiency with Python, Bash, or PowerShell and strong documentation practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret clearance is strongly preferred.
• Experience with cross-domain solutions, COMSEC, Type-1 or HAIPE encryptors, or General Dynamics TACLANE.
• Networking or security certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, PCNSA, Security+, or IAT/IAM certifications.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks, network automation, infrastructure as code, or defense compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting field environments, remote-site installations, startups, defense, intelligence, or critical infrastructure.
