Role Overview
The Staff AI Software Engineer leads the architecture, development, and end-to-end lifecycle of an AI platform and its supporting infrastructure.
The role combines system strategy with hands-on technical execution to deliver scalable, secure, and enterprise-integrated agentic workflows.
The engineer partners with internal teams and external contractors to lead technical reviews, integrations, and delivery execution.
Responsibilities
- Build AI agents, MCP servers, tools, and AI-native application experiences.
- Integrate LLM and generative AI capabilities using structured prompting, memory management, and context management.
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation patterns using embeddings and retrieval.
- Drive independent delivery of medium-to-large features and contribute to technical direction.
- Mentor engineers and guide contractors and partners.
- Drive Agile practices, prompt and model-performance testing, and observability for AI features.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
